Hi! My name is Devie Brown and I am the owner/ jeweler of Gold Creek Jewelry  in Columbia Falls, Montana.   I have over 23 years experience in the jewelry industry, specializing in jewelry repair and custom jewelry design and manufacture. I started out in 1987 working for a high end jewelry store in Bozeman, Montana, learning the trade of a goldsmith, gemologist and jewelry designer.  In 1993, my family moved to Columbia Falls and I became busy raising children, but kept a hand in the trade doing contract repair work for a local jeweler.  In 2000,  we built a small shop to make it easier for customers to reach me.  My shop is fully equipped to do jewelry repair and custom jewelry, so local customers don’t have to worry about their jewelry being sent away.  I especially enjoy creating new jewelry for people when they inherit heirlooms or want a piece redesigned.  I am currently working on a gallery page so you can see some of the work I have done and also follow along as a new piece is created.  I also have exquisite loose colored gemstones available for sale, to be made into a one-of-a-kind signature piece or added to a collection.  Montana sapphires are my favorite, as they come in a rainbow of colors and are very versatile.  But I also enjoy working with unusual stone shapes and colors, so you may find some stones you have never heard of or a color not normally associated with that stone.  I also have the easily recognizable stones, as they do have a special place in some pieces!  I enjoy sharing my knowledge about stones or jewelry, so feel free to stop by and visit, or leave me a comment.  Thank you!
